Area VI Championships
KGM Eventing went 1, 2, and 3 at the Area VI Championships.
Kim Goto Miner aboard her own Milagro NBS were crowned the Area VI Open Modified Champions. Milagro NBS is a 7yo OTTB acquired through the New Beginning Sporthorse Foundation as a 3 year old. "He has been a joy to bring along" says Goto Miner. They have been a team from Beginner Novice to now. Open Modified is Goto Miner's favorite level as it truly is a step up between the lower and upper levels.
Kim Rhodes aboard Heather Rhodes' Heaven's Journey were the Reserve Champion in the Area VI Reserve Champion division. Rhodes has been putting in a ton of effort into preparing for a return to the Training Level and this was the perfect way to boost her confidence before her move up.
Last but not least, Mariela Caravetta aboard Julie Humphreys' Gryffindor finished in third place in the Area VI Beginner Novice Rider division. Caravetta has been leasing Gryff for a little over a year and their bond has grown exponentially. Gryff was a rescue mustang from the BLM and he has been a barn favorite from day one.
We cannot wait to see what 2023 has to offer and we look forward to seeing everyone back out there!
