The Shepherd Ranch Pony Club Horse Trials benefits the Camino Real Region of the United States Pony Club. Proceeds will assist our members with travelling and competing in the 2024 USPC Championships at the Kentucky Horse Park.

Horse Health Entry Requirements
Practice Rounds
Due to the recent outbreak of Vesicular Stomatitis (VS) in California the following requirements have been issued from USEF for all competitions in VS-affected states (ie CA). These requirements are for horses travelling from VS-Affected Counties ONLY.
* Health Certificate within 2-5 days of arrival with the following statement included. "I have examined the animal(s) represented on this certificate of veterinary inspection and have found no clinical signs of vesicular stomatitis and they have not originaled from a premises under quarantine for vesicular stomatitis."
* Onsite Veterinary Examination
(Any horse exhibiting lesions or a temperature of 101.5 degrees or higher will not be allowed entry to the premises along with the rest of the horses on that trailer.)
* Temperature Logs
(All horses will be observed throughout the duration of the show and checked twice daily for temperatures.)
